DAY 1 & 2 CHOBE NATIONAL
PARK
Your safari guide will collect you from your
hotel in Victoria Falls at 1000 for a visit
to the Victoria Falls (a guided tour is included
in the safari cost) If you are flying directly
into Kasane airport and do not wish to visit
the Victoria Falls, you will be collected
from Kasane airport at 1400 in time for lunch
with your guide. It is a 15 minute drive from
Kasane, and a 1hr 15 min. drive from Victoria
Falls to Chobe National park in Botswana where
you will spend two overnights camping in the
Serondela area of northern Chobe. This is
the heart of elephant country and you may
spend many hours watching the huge herds in
and around the waters of the Chobe River.
Northern Chobe boasts of a large variety of
bird and animal life and is renowned for it's
beautiful scenery and magnificent sunsets.
DAY 3 & 4 SAVUTE,
CHOBE NATIONAL PARK
Travel southwest to Savute - excellent for
lion and other predator viewing throughout
the year - where you will spend two overnights
camping next to the dry Savute Channel. Depending
on the time of year, huge animal concentrations
are attracted to this area.
DAY 5, 6 & 7 LINYANTI
EXPLORATIONS WALKING SAFARI
North of Savute is Linyanti - a forgotten
corner of northern Botswana - boasting a great
diversity of game and birdlife. With its mature
woodland, beautiful lagoons and river frontage
on the Linyanti Swamp, it is one of the most
beautiful areas of Botswana.
Your walking safari with
Linyanti Explorations is focussed along the
Selinda Spillway - a watercourse linking the
Okavango Delta to the Linyanti Swamps.
At the Selinda - a private wildlife reserve
covering some 1350 square kilometres (unfenced)
- a special area has been set aside for walking
safaris.
The walks take you along
timeworn trails, through riparian forest and
open plains with great opportunities of viewing
big game on foot - including elephant, lion,
cheetah, wild dog and various plains game.
The walking safari offer a close, personal
Wildlife experience and are accompanied by
fully armed professional guide and tracker.
Enjoy the bush lore and tracking skills of
the experienced guides as they share their
extensive knowledge with you. Each morning,
enjoy an approximately seven kilometre intercamp
walk and a casual three kilometre walk in
the vicinity of each trails camp in the afternoon.
Spend you first night at
either Selinda or Zibalianja Tented Lodge
which offer normal camp activities. Your trails
guide will brief you on your safari this evening.
DAY 6
Depart early to arrive at your first overnight
camp in time for a delicious lunch, followed
by a siesta. Spend the afternoon walking in
the vicinity of the camp and enjoy late afternoon
sundowners. After dinner, embark on a night
game-drive seeking out nocturnal animals.
Spend one overnight in Trails Tents.
DAY 7
After breakfast, depart on the next trail
to arrive at overnight camp in time for lunch
and siesta, followed by a walk in the vicinity
of camp. Embark on a night game drive after
dinner and seek out some of the areas nocturnal
animals. Spend overnight in TRAILS camp.
DAYS 8 & 9 MOREMI
WILDLIFE RESERVE.
After breakfast, depart for the final leg
of the Linyanti walking Safari trail to arrive
at base camp before lunch. Continue overland
to Moremi Reserve - tucked into the northeastern
sector of the Okavango. Set aside in 1063
by the Batswana tribe, the reserve is rated
as Africa's most beautiful wildlife sanctuary.
Spend your days on extensive game viewing
drives in the Moremi reserve.
DAYS 10 & 11 OKAVANGO
DELTA
Travel by light aircraft (charter) from Khwai
- North Gate region of the Moremi - into the
heart of the Okavango Delta. Explore the crystal
clear channels, islands and waterways by mokoro
(canoe) and enjoy overland game drives and
game viewing nature walks on the islands.
Spend two nightsat camp site in a private
concession area.
DAY 12 SAFARI TERMINATES
IN MAUN
After breakfast transfer by light aircraft
charter flight to Maun airport where safari

night switch from Linyanti Trails Camp to
Savute Marsh - Chobe National Park.

The style accommodation takes
you back to the great days of African exploration.
Pure cotton linen bedrolls with feather duvets
on GI stretchers, teak bedside table with
silver lantern and mini luggage benches complement
the atmosphere in pristine, wild camping areas.
Shared separate toilet and shower bathrooms
with old style tin bucket showers and basins
and all amenities create simple serviced comfort.

THE ITINERARY DAY 1 & 2 SAN CAMP - MAKLGADIKGADI
PANS (KALAHARI)
After arrival in Maun, fly by light aircraft
to san Camp, located in a private concession
On the edge of the great Makgadikgadi Pans
in the Kalahari Desert.
The harsh lunar-like landscape abounds with
brown hyaena, oryx and springbok, amongst
a few of the desert-adapted species that can
be seen. Activities include
Encounters with suricates (meerkats) an endearing
little animal. Experience phenomenal geology,
quad biking, authentic San (bushmen) cultural
walks and simply enjoy the wide spaces of
the ancient lakebed.
DAY 3 & 4 NXAI PAN
- NXAI NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, depart overland
to your pre - erected Adventurer campsite
in the Nxai Pan National park, stopping for
lunch en route at the famous Baines Baobabs.
The pans here are covered with short nutritious
grasses and accasia trees, creating game-rich
ares surrounded by vegetated dune savannah.
Extensive game drives explore the surrounding
pans. Spectacular dry season predator and
wildlife action can be seen at the waterholes.
DAY 5 & 6 XIGERA MOKORO
TRAILS OKAVANGO DELTA
Depart early after breakfast and drive to
Maun, then transfer by light aircraft to
Xigera, a waterland paradise, located in the
Moremi reserve area of the Okavango Delta.
Experience the Okavango in the best possible
way - by walking, canoeing and camping on
the remote islands . Activities enables one
to experience the excellent divertsity of
birdlife, as well as a myriad of wildlife
species adapted to water.
DAY 7 & 8 LECHWE ISLAND
CAMP KWAI REGION - OKAVANGO DELTA.
Transfer by lodge aircraft from Xigera to
the northeastern corner of the Okavango delta
(Kwai river region) Here, in a complete private
concession area on the Kwai Channel, explore
this seasonally game rich flooded region on
game drives, game walks and night drives.
DAY 9 SAVUTE MARSH, CHOBE
NATIONAL PARK
After early morning drive, depart from camp
and travel north through the private concession,
stopping en route at a private game viewing
hide for lunch. Arrive at pre-erected Adventurer
campsite mid afternoon, in time for a sunset
game drive.
DAY 10 & 11 LINYANTI
TRAILS CAMP - LINYANTI CONCESSION
Leave early - proceeding towards the Linyanti
region. This is an all day game drive with
lunch en route - at a private game viewing
hide in the Savute Channel.
In addition, this game drive
is created to provide guests with an intimate
detailed view of the "Stolen River"
to ensure the best zebra migration and most
reliable wildlife viewing Possible throughout
the year.
On the second day, depart
on an early morning activity in the north-eastern
corner of the Linyanti, enjoying a myriad
of changing landscapes, from riverine to savannah
habitat with sweeping views. Lunch is at a
spectacular serviced lunch deck, with sweeping
view of the Linyanti waterways. After siesta
in hammocks, enjoy a leisurely canoe trip
before returning to camp at dusk.
DAY 12 CHOBE BOAT CRUISE
AND NARURAL MYSTIC LODGE ZAMBIA
After a short morning drive and breakfast,
depart by light aircraft to the northern Chobe
of Chobe national park. This area is famous
for its vast herds of elephant and other unique
species - such as the elusive puku and Chobe
bushbuck that move to the river in the hottest
hours of the day. Enjoy a boat cruise in a
skimmer-style shaded boat, including a delicious
lunch.
Leave Botswana and enter
Zambia by way of the Kazangula border, a point
where four countires meet- Botswana, Zimbabwe,
Zambia & Namibia - to stay at the Natural
Mystic Lodge in Livingston.
DAY 13 VICTORIA FALLS
- TRANSFER TO LIVINGSTON AIRPORT
Enjoy a guided tour of the Victoria Falls,
one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
At 1708 metres wide, it is the largest curtain
of water in the world and drops more than
100 metres into the sheer Zambezi Gorge.
Transfer to Livingston airport
at end of adventure.

to water-filled Xigera, located on a private
Concession in the Moremi Game Reserve. Activities
include mokoro and walking safaris, allowing
for encounters with a diversity of bird and
wildlife.
DAY 3 & 4 LECHWE ISLAND
CAMP, KWAI REGION, OKAVANGO DELTA
Fly by light aircraft from Xigera Trails directly
to Kwai region in the north eastern corner
of the Okavango Delta - to a pre - erected
adventurer camp.
DAY 5 SAVUTI - CHOBE NATIONAL
PARK
After early morning drive and departure from
camp, travel directly north through the private
concession, stopping en route at a private
game viewing hide overlooking a waterhole.
For lunch. Arrive at pre-erected campsite
in the mid-afternoon, in time for a sunset
game drive.
DAY 6 & 7 LINYANTI
TRAILS CAMP - LINYANTI CONCESSION
Depart early this morning for the Linyanti
Region. This is an all day game drive, with
lunch At a private game viewing hide in the
Savuti Channel. En route, your are treated
with a close-up view of 'Stolen River"
to ensure the best zebra migration and reliable
game viewing possible throughout the year.
Game species and predators gravitate back
and forth according to season between Linyanti
and the Savuti marsh.
On the second day in the
Linyanti, depart early on a morning activity
in the north-eastern corner of the Linyanti-
taking in the changing landscapes, fro riverine
to
Savannah habitats. Lunch takes place on a
shaded deck, with a spectacular sweeping
View of the Linyanti waterways. After siesta
in hammocks, enjoy a leisurely canoe trip
before returning to camp in the early evening.
DAY 8 CHOBE RIVER CRUISE
AND NATURAL MYSTIC LODGE ZAMBIA
After short morning drive and brakfast, depart
by light aircraft to the northern Chobe region
of Chobe national Park.. This area is famous
for its vast herds of elephant and unique
species such as the elusive puku and Chobe
bushbuck that move to the river in the hottest
hours of the day. Enjoy a lunch served during
the boat cruise on the catamaran-style shaded
boat.
Leave Botswana and enter
Zambia by way of the Kazanguila border, to
stay at the Natural Mystic Lodge in Livingstone.
DAY 9 TRANSFER TO LIVINGSTON

Enjoy a morning guided tour of the Victoria
Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of
the world. At 1708 meters wide, dropping a
sheer 100metres into the Zambezi Gorge.
Transfer to Livingston airport
at end of your adventure.
SELINDA
WALKING TRAILS (Linyanti)
Walking trails operate between
Selinda, Mokoba, Tshwene and Zibalianja camps
in the north of the Selinda Reserve. Vegetation
varies from open plains to riverine forest.
TRAILS INFORMATION
The number of participants
may be from one to four persons per trail.
Accommodation are in twin
bedded meru-style tents with fly sheet

Lighting is by gas - no
electricity
Meals are table d'hote

A full range of drinks

DAY 2 WALKING SAFARI DEPARTS
- OVERNIGHT TRAILS CAMP
The safari departs early, arriving at first
overnight camp before lunch. After lunch a
siesta, and the afternoon
Is spent walking in the vicinity of camp,
with sundowner, followed by dinner.
DAY 3 COMMENCE TO SECOND
TRAILS CAMP
After breakfast depart on the next trail,
arriving at next overnight camp before lunch.
Lunch and siesta, followed by an afternoon
walk in the vicinity of camp.
Dinner at camp.
A night drive is offered. Overnight trails
camp.
DAY 4 FINAL WALKING TRAIL
- RETURN TO SELINDA OR ZIBALINAJA.
After breakfast depart on the final leg of
the trail, arriving at base camp before lunch.
Guests may choose to stay for another night
(at additional cost).
For those who prefer to depart (as per the
cost quoted) transfer to Kasane airport
By light aircraft and proceed to next destination.
