We would like to clarify some questions you
may have and hope these will assist in planning
your safari to Africa.
SAFARI CAMPS
We have selected safari camps to suit most
budgets. Our camps range from de luxe, to
standard to more rustic type of accommodation.
All the camps offer rooms with en suite bathrooms
facilities . Bathrooms usually consist of
shower, toilet and washbasin, whilst rooms
are usually East-African style walk in spacious
tents fully furnished.

GUIDED SAFARI ACTIVITIES
Safari camps offer guided game activities
during your stay, and these are always included
in the cost of your safari. The game activities
offered varies depending on the area you are
visiting. Game activities are always accompanied
by experienced, and knowledgeable safari guides.
Two game activities per day are offered.
Game activities are game walks, game drives
in open safari vehicles, boating by motorised
boat, canoeing and fishing. Game drives are
usually by day if the safari camps is located
within a national park, but camps located
in private concession areas offer night drives
as well.
NATIONAL PARK FEES WHILST
ON SAFARI
These fees will always be included in the
cost of your safari.
MEALS, DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
AND DRINKS ON SAFARI
Meals included in the cost of your safari
are usually breakfast, lunch and dinner.
We will advise if otherwise on the quote to
you. Special dietary requirements are catered
for. Please advise us at time booking of your
preferences. At Safari camps, local branded
wines and beers during meals are usually included
in the safari cost. Certain camps also includes
local branded spirits. Where drinks are not
included, we will advise.
LAUNDRY SERVICE ON SAFARI
Most camps offer a complimentary laundry service
to guests.
SAFARI TRANSFERS
These may be by light aircraft (usually nine
seater twin or single engined), by road and
by boat depending on the type of safari you
choose and the area where the transfer is
to take place. We take care at all times,
that your transfers will co inside with any
scheduled airline flights on your itinerary.
Should your transfer be by light aircraft,
the luggage restriction on the transfer is
10kg in soft bags.
THE COST OF YOUR SAFARI
The cost depends on the season of travel as
well as the type of lodge\ safari camp you
choose. We cater for most budgets and have
a wide selection of safari camps to choose
from. You may advise your approximate daily
budget in order for us to assist you in making
your choice.
THE SAFARI SEASONS
Although the seasons (rate wise) varies slightly
between different countries, your rates will
be charged approximately according to the
following periods -
Nov - Dec. Mid season
Jan - Mar. Low season
Apr - Jun. Mid season
Jul - Oct. High season
CHILDREN ON SAFARI
The camps are located in remote wilderness
areas. For safety reasons, most safari camps
do not accept children under twelve years
old although there are exceptions.
On requesting a quote from us, we would appreciate
if you could advise if there are children
in your party, as well as their ages in order
to choose a safari camp with facilities to
accept young children. Children from 12 years
pay full adult rates.
PASSPORT AND VISA REQUIREMENTS
Your passport should be valid for a minimum
of a further six months from date of entry.
Although we do not obtain visas on your behalf,
we will be advising you on the visa requirements
at date of booking. Please advise you passport
nationality and full names at date of booking.
HEALTH REUIREMENTS
Precaution against malaria is required when
visiting Southern African countries. You are
advised to consult your local general practitioner
or health clinic regarding the prophylactic
most suitable for the area you intend visiting
and for you personally.
CANCELLATION INSURANCE
We abide by the rules of our principals. Normal
cancellation charges are applicable.
It is important to have a fully comprehensive
health and cancellation policy.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

confirmation of bookings (or at any time you
may so request)
TIPPING ON SAFARI
It is traditional to tip your safari guide
and cleaning staff at safari camps.
We will advise the expected procedure on confirmation.
CLOTHING AND PERSONAL
ITEMS ON SAFARI
A short suggested list of most important items.
Khaki coloured or muted clothing - no
bright colours.
Warm windbreaker, long pants and long
sleeved shirt (especially during winter
months)
Comfortable walking shoes, socks and sandals
Bathingsuits, wide brimmed hats and sunglasses.
Sunblock, body lotion, insect repellent
(although lodges do provide repellent)
All personal toiletries
All personal medication.
Camera, binoculars, extra film (in case
of non digital camera)
COMMUNICATION FROM SAFRI CAMPS
Due to the remote locations, the only form
of communication is usually by radio.
Cellular phones are usually not within range.
Should you need to contact home the camp will
radio their nearest office to relay a message.
Should your family need to contact you, it
may be via our office, or camps office. Telephone
numbers will always be supplied.
CURRENCY
Our principals quote in US Dollars. Once you
are on safari, you may settle any additional
charges, eg bar bills, purchase of curios
etc. in US Dollars. All lodges will accept
major credit cards.
