Skeleton Coast Camp has exclusive
use of about 600 000 acres of
the Skeleton Coast national park.
This beautiful area has everything
from soaring sand dunes to towering
canyons and mountains, saltpans,
Seal colonies and shipwrecks.
Freshwater springs sustain animal
life and guests can view Springbok,
Gemsbok, Desert Elephant. Cape
Fur Seals, Brown Hyeana, Jackal,
Ostrich, porcupine Giraffe, Hartman's
Mountain Zebra, Blackfaces Springbok
and occasionally lion and cheetah.
The camp has seven Luxury tented
rooms with en suite bathrooms,
and there is an open-air dining
area under an ancient Leadwood
tree. Breakfast is enjoyed in
camp and then guests are taken
into the park and surrounding
Countryside for full and rewarding
days. Activities are fully escorted
all day safaris, game and nature
drives, Guided walks and birding.
The
safaris have scheduled departure
dates with a minimum of two guests
.
Departures are scheduled - Wednesdays
and Saturdays from Windhoek International
airport.
Departs Windhoek aprox. 1000 and
arrive back in Windhoek aprox.
1600 on last day pick up from
Damaraland, Swakopmund is free
of charge, but additional charge
applies from Etosha.
Luggage restriction on safari

On the harsh but beautiful
Atlantic coast of Northern Namibia,
these safaris operate, taking
in
The Skeleton Coat National Park,
the Namib Naukluft Park, as well
as parts of the interior of Damarland
and the Kaokoveld. The area is
covered by the Schoeman family,
offereing unique 4 and 5 night
fly-in safaris by Cessna 210 aircraft.
Guests
are accommodated in exclusive,
privately owned, fully equipped
tents - a different area each
night. Camps are comfortable and
serve all basic needs. Each camp
is carefully chosen for it's beauty.
Every
safari is hosted and flown by
a member of this family, renowned
internationally for their Skeleton
Coast
And Namib Knowledge and experience.
Guests are exposed to the rugged
coast, including shipwrecks, Namib
dunes , geology, ecology, desert
adapted fauna and flora. A Skeleton
Coast safari is a complete Desert

A four day safari departing Windhoek
at 1000 in the morning, following
the Skeleton Coast from Conception
Bay to the Huab Valley during
the first day. The second day
continues up the coast as far
as the Hoarusib Valley and the
third day as far as the Kunene
river, being the Northern border
of Namibia. The safari ends in
Windhoek on the fourth day, arriving
just before sunset.

This safari departs Windhoek at
0700 in the morning with a flight
to Sossusvlei, which is reputed
to have the highest sand dunes
in the world. From there, following
the Skeleton Coast via conception
Bay to the Huab Valley during
the first day. The second day
continues up the coast as far
as the Hoarusib Valley and the
third day as far as the Kunene
river, being the northern border.
The safari ends in Windhoek on
the forth day before sunset.

five day safari, departing Windhoek
at 0700 in the morning with a
flight to Sossusvlei- reputedly
where the highest sand dunes in
the world are to be found. From
there, following the Skeleton
Coast via Conception Bay to the

The second day continues up the
coast as far as the Hoarusib Valley
and the third day as far as the
Kunene river - the northern Namibian
border.
On the forth day a flight to one
of the lodges outside Etosha National
Park, from where the park is visited
on the fifth day. The safri ends
in Windhoek, arriving just before
sunset on the fifth day.
SKELETON
COAST SAFARI D (includes drive
into Sossusvlei , Namib- Rand
and Diamond area)

This
combination provides a safari
which includes a drive into Sossusvlei,
the Namib-Rand Nature Reserve
and a unique opportunity to experience
the mystique and splendour of
the "Spergebiet", the
forbidden Diamond area., situated
on the far south - west coast
of Namibia. From there the safari
continues along the Skeleton Coast
via Spencer Bay to the Huab Valley
during the third day.
The fourth day continues up the
coast as far as the Hoarusib Valley
and the fifth day as far as the
Kunene River - the northern Namibian
border. The safari ends in Windhoek,
arriving just before sunset on
the sixth day.

The safari has scheduled departure

to confirm.
Groups of 4 or more may have daily
departures, subject to availability
of aircraft\pilots.
A flight along the Skeleton Coast
and a boat trip to see the dolphins
and seals, plus lunch in Swkopmund
included.
Luggage restriction is 12kg in
soft bags.
Safari departs Windhoek International
no later than 1200. Guests arriving
the day before and overnighting
in Windhoek must please ensure
that a transfer has been scheduled
at additional cost (we will arrange)
at the end of the safari, guests
will arrive back in Windhoek by
1300 if the safari ends on Ongava
- Etosha.
If the safari ends in Sossusvlei
(i.e. travelling in reverse direction)
guests will be back in Windhoek
by 0930 the safari is usually
accommodated at Ongava Tented
Camp in Etosha, but certain departures
may use Ongava Lodge.
SOSSUSVLEI
WILDERNESS CAMP
Nine guest rooms - en suite bathrooms
- with private plunge pools.
Te main living area is under thatch
with an outdoor deck for dining
under the stars.
Activities are nature drives to
the Sossusvlei dunes, night drives,
birding, guided walks, at additional
cost - hot air ballooning can
be arranged.
DAMARALAND
CAMP
Nine guest rooms - meru style
walk in tents with en suite bathrooms.
The main living area combines
dining room, lounge and bar under
canvas. An open campfire and outdoor
"boma" are enjoyed at
calm evenings. Camp has a natural
rock swimming pool.
Activities are game and nature
drives, night drives, birding,
guided walks, mountain bikes.
ONGAVA
TENTED CAMP
Six guest rooms - meru style walk
in tents with en suite bathrooms
- the bathroom is under thatch
- shower open air..
The main dining area is under
thatch with a verandah.
Camp has a swimming pool.
A
much frequented waterhole allow
guests excellent game viewing
from the verandah.
Activities are game drives into
Etosha and \ or game drives on
the Ongava Reserve, in hides or
on foot.
Rhino tracking on the reserve
on foot is a speciality offered.
